Videography & Photography

Throughout my whole life, I have been fascinated by all forms of media including video or imagery. Watching television is a part of many people’s lives as it’s basically unavoidable, however, as I was growing up my father was working IT for Gillette. Therefore he had plenty of computers around my house at a time where computers were still relatively insignificant to regular life. However little baby me was infatuated with them, the way they looked, the way they operated, and most importantly, what the screen was showing. Most of what it was showing when I was around were different types of videos. Animation, Pixel, Movies, to even the visuals on Windows Media Player, if it moved I was watching it. Based on my upbringing it’s no surprise that my passion for video and photo is this large. From video editing to photography, here are examples.

My photography is something I have always done on my own time. Whether it’s from a simple smartphone to my 1983 Canon AE-1, I will always stop to take a picture of something that has grasped my attention. I tend to have an I for interesting compositions with very low lighting and darker tones, as I feel the highlights pop more/have more meaning when the rest of the picture is muted with a deep dawning color.

Creating and capturing fun moments or any type of memory is what life is really about. There is no goal just to be. Finding what feels right and moving from what is wrong is all anyone can ask of another person. Capturing my life and keeping them forever will always be something I’m going to do, expect this section to only get bigger and more lively.

This project was to use frame by frame animation to illustrate and motivate a narrative within a given story.
